These Terms apply when you use this website or apply for the Finally Business Scholarship. “Finally Business” means Finally Business Media, LLC. By using the site or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms.
1. Scholarship structure
- Free to apply: no purchase or payment is required.
- Merit-based: applications are assessed using criteria selected by Finally Business. Recipients are not selected at random.
- Awards: one full scholarship and up to 50 partial scholarships may be awarded, as described on the application page. “Up to” means fewer awards may be made.
- No cash alternative: awards are personal, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
2. Eligibility
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally able to participate from their location. Employees, contractors and immediate family members of Finally Business Media, LLC are not eligible. We may request reasonable evidence of identity, age, eligibility or application information. We may reject duplicate, incomplete, misleading, automated or abusive applications.
3. Selection and notification
Applications are reviewed on merit at our discretion. Meeting stated criteria does not guarantee an award. Selected recipients may be contacted by email, phone or WhatsApp and may be required to respond within a reasonable deadline. If a recipient does not respond, cannot establish eligibility or declines the award, we may withdraw or reallocate it.
4. Changes, suspension or cancellation
We may modify, pause or cancel the scholarship, adjust the timeline or change the number of awards where reasonably necessary, including because of operational, legal, technical or fraud-related issues. Nothing in this clause removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Applicant information and conduct
You must provide accurate information and must not interfere with the website, submit unlawful content, impersonate another person or attempt to manipulate the application process. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Publicity
If separately agreed with a selected recipient, we may publish their first name and limited information about the award. Participation in broader promotional activity is voluntary unless clearly agreed in writing.
7. Taxes and other costs
Recipients are responsible for any taxes, duties, reporting obligations, travel costs, third-party charges or other expenses arising from an award unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
8. Results and educational-content disclaimer
Savings, prices and results shown on the site are examples and are not guarantees. Outcomes depend on factors including routes, dates, availability, loyalty-program rules, fees and individual decisions. Our content is educational and is not financial, legal, tax or travel-agent advice.
9. Intellectual property
Website content, videos, images, tools and course materials are owned by or licensed to Finally Business. They may not be copied, distributed, resold, published or shared without written permission, except where applicable law allows otherwise.
10. Marketing
Marketing communications are sent only where permitted and, where required, after you give consent. You may opt out at any time. Scholarship administration messages are separate from optional marketing.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finally Business is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site, an application, an award or reliance on our content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country.
12. EU and UK consumer rights
Where mandatory consumer law in your country applies, those protections continue to apply. The governing-law clause below does not remove rights that cannot be waived by contract.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, subject to any mandatory rights available to you under the law of your usual country of residence.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top identifies the current version.
